What is in the Settings button?

Within the extension, you’ll find a Settings button that allows you to customise how the extension works —including general extension settings as well as when pop‑up notifications appear.

General setting

Institution select Select your institution from the dropdown list. If you cannot find your institution on the list, this is because your library has not subscribed to Lean Library yet. If this is the case, please select Lean Library Open.
Language Select the language you would like your extension to display. This is set up by your library.
Text size Select the size of the text displayed within the extension.
Floating button position Select where you would like the floating button to appear.

Let me decide which sites I'll see messages on This allows you to disable pop-up on any website. Read here for more details
Automate my authentication and skip associated pop-ups This setting enables the extension to streamline your authentication, so you will not see any pop-ups. Read here for more details.
Show me the option to register for email alerts within Google Scholar search results This setting enables a journal alert subscription option on Google Scholar. Read here for more details.

 

Notify Me

When an article is found within my library’s holdings This setting makes a pop-up appear to access the full-text article at an alternative location via your library
When an ebook is found within my library’s holdings This setting makes a pop-up appear to access the full-text eBooks at an alternative location via your library
When an article has an Open Access version available This setting makes a pop-up appear to access the full-text article at an Open Access location
When I can request a resource via an "Inter-Library Loan" form This setting makes a pop-up appear to request a resource via an "Inter-Library Loan" form

Integrations

Scite.Ai This setting lets you decide where to see Scite.ai's badge. Read here for more details
Additional Library Search This setting lets you rearrange the Additional Library Search result order and disable/enable the platforms that you wish to see appearing in Additional Library Search
