This article explains how librarians can activate the Lean Library Workspace LibGuide we’ve created for their institution. This LibGuide is designed to educate your patrons about the new Lean Library Workspace feature and how they can use it to manage references more effectively and support their research journey.
Note: This setup applies only if your institution has enabled the Lean Library Workspace feature and you have access to Onboarding feature within the Lean Library dashboard.

Steps to Activate the LibGuide
1. Open your Lean Library dashboard and navigate to:
Lean Library Futures > Onboarding > Content
2. Locate the “Lean Library Workspace LibGuide” in the list of content.
3. Toggle the switch to enable the LibGuide content.
4. Go to the Setup area to configure where the LibGuide will be displayed.
5. In the Add New window, choose where you’d like the LibGuide to appear.
Under General, select “Lean Library Workspace” as the content, and choose the Resource (location) where you want it to display for patrons.
6. If you want to display the LibGuide on multiple locations, use the Specific URL section to customise where it appears. Read this article to learn how to use the Specific URL feature.
