Apart from surfacing digital resources of journals and books, we now also support surfacing print books in your library collection. Print Book Alternatives allows your patron to be one click away from searching for print book copies in the library.
What is it?
This integration allows your patron to see an option on the pop-up to "Check for Print" copies in your library discovery. Once click on the "Check for print" link, it will automatically redirect the user to your discovery page (or any other specified location) and automatically search for the print versions of the ISBN(S). You can read more about the Alternatives feature here.
How to enable this setting?
This setting can be enabled in your dashboard. Please go to the dashboard, head to the Alternatives setting, expand Holding Settings, and click on Print Holding Settings.
