In some (but not all) cases, the most recent edition of a style won't have the edition number listed in the short title we display in the results. The most common of these is APA (American Psychological Association). If you need the latest edition, which is APA 7th Edition, this style is just called APA in the search results. You can hover your cursor over a style to get the full title (including the edition number) as well:
You'll notice that any older versions of APA will list the edition number in both the short and long titles:
With other styles (such as Chicago) the edition number is listed in the short title, but the details about which exact variation can be hidden - in these cases just hover your cursor over the style to reveal the full details:
