When a patron arrived at a library resource website, they will receive a Get Access pop-up so they can login to the site with the library. Similar to when they arrive at an article that the library has licensed to at an alternative location, they will received Article Alternatives pop-up. Read here to understand more.
However, by default, we are set up to NOT display any of the pop-ups mentioned above when the patron is already at a full-text Open Access location. The reason behind is if the patron already has access to the full-text at an Open Access location, there shouldn't be any reason to login via the library as an extra step.
If your institute prefer the patrons to still go through the authentication process, even when they are viewing full-text, please follow the below steps to enable this setting:
1: In the Lean Library Dashboard, select Access > General Network Settings > Overall Extension behavior settings
2: Switch ON Enable Access & Alternatives for OA articles, then Save changes
